My Approach
My approach to therapy combines trauma-focused, asset-based, narrative and critical race theories. I have worked with members of various cultural backgrounds and experiences to address a wide range of mental health challenges (depression, anxiety, complex trauma, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder, etc). I believe each individual has the right and power to determine their own healing path. Experiences in life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, lost and in need of support to navigate us back to clarity, self-trust and balance. Taking the step to work with a therapist is an opportunity to be seen, heard and understood without judgment. My work is to walk alongside my clients on their journeys helping them to reclaim their story and find their way back to meaning, confidence and joy in their lives.
