It has been a calling of mine since I received the gift of therapy myself to follow my path to becoming a therapist. As an emotionally sensitive empath, I gravitate toward providing healing energy to others by walking alongside them in their journey of therapy. My path to becoming a therapist became clearer when I was introduced to Mindfulness practices and person-centered approaches.
My goal is to offer clients a caring and supportive environment to explore life's challenging obstacles such as loss, life transitions, and trauma. I seek to join in the healing process, working collaboratively with my clients as they discover journey of healing. My approach is warm, honest, and empathic to create a comforting and encouraging environment, for my clients to feel empowered to transform their lives.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University of Fullerton and continued my education journey at Chapman University where I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a background in working in community mental health, school counseling and private practice settings. I am EMDR trained and a trauma informed therapist.
I enjoy spending time with my family, dog, and two cats. I am an avid reader and lover of plants. I enjoy practicing mindfulness and gratitude in my daily life. I feel most grounded in nature walking and being present.
