Approach
My mission is to create an authentic, empathic, safe, inclusive space for individuals to explore themselves. I am dedicated to assisting clients towards an understanding of mind-body connection, their spirituality, and personal values. I aim to meet clients where they're at, offering patience and unconditional positive regard. I strive to communicate with respect, curiosity, integrity, and love. My intention is to offer a sense of connection while facilitating a deep healing process through holistic approaches. It is important for me to tailor my services to each individual I work with by exploring what brings them a sense of passion and purpose. I aim to stay attuned to my clients and their needs.
Education and Experience
In undergrad, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at California State University, East Bay. I am a recent Sofia University graduate, with a degree in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I have an immense amount of interest in Humanistic theory, Psychosynthesis, and Expressive Arts therapy. Throughout my journey at Sofia, I participated in many different creative expression courses which has led me towards obtaining a Creative Expression Certificate. I appreciate the way creativity and art forms can be used to promote growth and healing for people of all ages. Creativity and art serves as a universal language where a deep sense of connection happens. They both have no limitations, and carry with them an abundance of lessons to be uncovered. For the past couple of years, I have worked with high needs families in a Wraparound program, at a non-profit organization. I have served many different foster and delinquent children in the greater Sacramento area. Additionally, I am a phase 1 brainspotting practitioner and practice trauma informed care.
About Me
In my free time I enjoy spending time at the beach, in nature, meditating, listening to music, and cooking! I have two cats named Cairo & Aura who keep me very entertained. I am an adventurous person who likes to travel and explore. For almost a decade I have worked as a spiritual healer. I value being a bridge between two worlds, the spiritual and the physical. My goal in life has been to bring my uniqueness into the mental health world in order to lead clients into a deep healing process that involves connection with spirit through creative modalities such as art, dance, sound healing, crystals and more.
