Hi there, I'm Camryn.
I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist / Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee currently completing my master’s in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. My work is grounded in a depth psychological and somatic approach that welcomes complexity, contradiction, and the wild intelligence of the soul.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and other relationship constellations that come from all walks of life.
I have experience with those who are moving through complex trauma, dissociation, grief, eating disorders, substance use, identity shifts such as coming out as LGBTQ+ or grappling with chronic health conditions, and the often disorienting search for meaning and belonging. I hold these experiences not as pathologies to fix, but as meaningful expressions of the psyche, signals that something essential is asking to be seen, heard, or remembered.
My approach is rooted in Jungian, imaginal, and archetypal traditions. I draw from an understanding of the unconscious, dreamwork, and the symbolic life, one that honors the many parts, images, and archetypal figures within us. I invite the full range of inner experience to take shape—trusting that psyche speaks in plurality, in image, in mood, and often through what has been exiled or overlooked.
Somatic awareness is central to my work. I incorporate practices like authentic movement, breathwork, brainspotting, and other somatic modalities to help people reconnect with the parts of themselves that live beneath language. I draw upon nature-based approaches, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and creative modalities such as sand tray to support expression, regulation, and soul-tending.
Spiritual and transpersonal exploration is welcome here too—whether through spontaneous moments of insight, or a quiet longing for something larger than the self.
My background includes years immersed in working with horses, yoga, sound healing, nature-based practices, and a lived exploration of how spirit and psyche intersect.
This work is deeply personal and sacred to me. It’s shaped by my relationship with the natural world, with animals, with dreams—and by my own ongoing journey of learning to hold complexity with curiosity rather than control.
I aim to offer a space that is reverent, curious, and non-pathologizing—a place where the many facets of your experience, especially those that have been silenced or misunderstood, can be gently welcomed into the light. If you’re feeling in-between, lost, or quietly longing for something deeper, you don’t have to find your way alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
