Mary’s approach is integrative, collaborative, and holistic as she seeks to understand the client’s unique world and perspective. She sees the client as the expert of their life with her role as a guide on their journey toward wholeness and connection. In the session, she incorporates the wisdom of mind, body, and spiritual perspectives with other traditional psychotherapy practices to help clients create the life they want for themselves. She brings her experiences as a mother and former executive to co-create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, healing, and productive.
Mary also brings a lifetime of horse experience as a competitor, protector, and lover of these magnificent animals. She is honored to work with clients seeking more profound insights into themselves through equine-assisted therapy.
Mary received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Her commitment to professional excellence keeps her continually seeking advanced learning opportunities to assist her clients in further growth.

Mary received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Her commitment to professional excellence keeps her continually seeking advanced learning opportunities to assist her clients in further growth.
Mary has advanced training in couples work with the research-based Gottman Institute. She has completed level two and has gained expertise in addressing issues around communication and issues. Her training and experience allow couples to problem-solve and develop intimacy in a safe, supportive environment. She is currently in progress as a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP). She looks forward to further assisting her clients in gaining a deeper connection to each other and themselves.
Mary has also completed a post-master's certification in Somatic Attachment and is currently in a mentorship program with thought leaders and experts in this field. Using her education, life experience, and training, Mary helps clients understand the impact of early experiences' effects on interpersonal relationships and life satisfaction. Mary's advanced training gives clients additional opportunities for personal growth, insight, and understanding of the effects of trauma and conflict on the mind and body.
